Tapexc was engaged by Connect Infrastructure for the 66kV cable installation from Transgrid BSP to new Menangle Park temporary Zone Substation.

We installed 3 x runs of 66kV 630mm² cable totalling 2160mtrs. All cable pulling tensions were monitored & recorded using our 6.5T Capstan Winch.

Tapexc was engaged by Connect Infrastructure to undertake the installation of 66kV cables from the Transgrid Bulk Supply Point (BSP) to the new Menangle Park temporary Zone Substation. This critical infrastructure project involved the installation of three runs of 66kV, 630mm² cable, with a total length of 2,160 meters.

The cable installation process was meticulously executed, with all pulling tensions carefully monitored and recorded using our state-of-the-art 6.5-tonne Capstan Winch. This ensured the integrity of the cable and compliance with industry standards throughout the operation.

The project was completed efficiently, meeting all specifications and timelines, and contributing to the successful energisation of the new temporary substation. Our team’s expertise in high-voltage cable installation played a key role in delivering this essential upgrade to the network.
